What does a Telecoms Engineer do?

Telecommunications engineers (or telecom engineers) install, test, and repair communications systems.

This includes fixed-line and mobile telephone networks, copper wire and fibre-optic cabling, and digital satellite systems.

On average, trainee telecoms engineers will earn around £30k in their first year, with huge earning potential as you gain more experience.
